Be it Twitter, YouTube, Facebook, Instagram or our website or mobile apps, we’re looking for a candidate who understands the importance of creating unique experiences exclusively for each platform.


The Senior Strategist will work with different content production teams within the organisation and develop their capacity to create engaging and effective digital videos. He/She will manage the teams workflow, processes and oversee the daily output. The role entails incubating a process of video production over a period of time. He/She will look at formats, techniques and overall changes that will make the content perform optimally on digital platforms and social media timelines.


  • Develop an efficient and effective workflow for digital content production
  • Ensure that workflows and process are inline with each team and maximises existing content and research done by other video and content production teams
  • Provide input into pitch process, story selection as well as assist in identifying angles and hooks that will appeal to the target audience
  • Developing new concepts, formats and techniques of storytelling
  • Experimenting in ensuring that the digital videos perform optimally across the different social media timelines and platforms
  • Developing a strategy to ensure growth of the social accounts through the creation of engaging content that aims to develop an active community
  • Compile best practices for digital video production, along with guidelines
  • Ensuring accountability by assessing amount of  content produced and ensuring continuously that best practices are being adhered to
  • Overseeing every aspect of the content production team that is being incubated Documenting the processes and workflows during the incubation period for eventual handover to the relevant stakeholders


  • University degree in journalism, digital communication or a related field  or suitable experience
  • Five years’ experience in digital media and project management
  • Sound editorial judgment of global issues
  • A solid commitment to the TRT Arabi’s spirit of journalism
  • Experienced in analysing social media trends
  • Understanding of the social media landscape
  • Impeccable Arabic writing and editing skills
  • Fluency in English highly advantageous.
  • Understanding of audience engagement tactics and tools
  • Experience in Photoshop and Adobe Premiere
